The home help program is one that is administered by the Department of Human Services (DHS) and its main purpose is to provide support for qualified individuals to hire someone that will assist them with their daily activities. The person you hire must be at least 18 years of age and they can be a friend, neighbor, or loved one. If you need assistance in performing daily activities and qualify for Medicaid, then you are eligible for this service.
As a registered provider of the home health program, St. Jude’s Homecare Services LLC can help you find the right caregiver to support you in your everyday life. The caregiver we provide you will assist you with the following:
- Eating and/or Feeding
- Toileting
- Bathing
- Grooming
- Dressing
- Laundry
- Light House Work
- Taking Medication
- Shopping/Meal Preparation
- Transferring
- And More
How Are We Paid?
St. Jude’s Homecare Services LLC officals, the adult service worker, and you as our client will agree on how much assistance you or your loved one will need each month. This will be based on the comprehensive assessment conducted by our adult service worker to determine what you need. The hourly rate will be based on the county you or your loved one is living in.
